In 2017 as Co-ordinating Principal of the three schools within the Holy Trinity Parish I put out to tender the cleaning contracts for our schools. Alec Epis Cleaning Services was recommended to me by Hunter’s Industrials so I made contact with James Aforozis to discuss the idea of him tendering for the contracts.
From my first meeting with James it was obvious that he was extremely professional and very detailed in his preparation. He ensured he visited each site and talked through what the requirements of each school was in regards to cleaning. Some other companies who quoted didn’t visit the site only wanted a site map to put together their tender. It was obvious from the tender process that Alec Epis Cleaning Services don’t take shortcuts and are thorough in all they do. Although their tender was competitive it was not the cheapest but we didn’t want a cheap job.
Since beginning the contract we could not be more pleased with the quality of work, the manner in which ‘nothing is too much trouble’ and the personal contact that James Aforozis provides. He will call regularly just to ‘check in’ and to see how things are going.
Schools are dynamic environments and Alec Epis Cleaning Services understand this and are very flexible if changes to cleaning roster needs to be made due to events like Parent Teacher Meetings or a School Concert. They also understand that ‘accidents’ happen in schools and they deal with these situations promptly when needed.
